On March 13, 2026, FPT Corporation welcomed a delegation of professors and students from Suffolk University (Boston, USA) to its F-Town 3 complex in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. The visit marked a meaningful step toward strengthening the connection between “Made by FPT” technology ecosystems, such as AI Center and Akabot, and leading academic research in artificial intelligence.

Bridging Global Academia with Industry Innovation
Located in the heart of Boston—one of the world’s leading academic hubs—Suffolk University is a prestigious institution with over 100 years of history. A key highlight of its current strategy is the SAIL (Sawyer AI Leadership) framework, an innovative initiative designed to equip students with leadership capabilities and practical applications of AI in business. The program prepares future leaders to drive digital transformation across global enterprises.
Experiencing AI in Action: From AI Center to Education Applications
During the visit, the Suffolk delegation had the opportunity to explore FPT’s modern, international-standard working environment at F-Town 3, including a tour of the AI Center—home to some of FPT’s top technology experts.

One of the highlights was the live demonstration of IVY, FPT’s real-time translation solution, which effectively breaks down language barriers in global communication. This hands-on experience showcased how AI can be applied to solve real-world challenges.
FPT’s AI experts also shared insights into ongoing research initiatives and the roadmap for future AI development, reinforcing FPT’s position not only as a technology adopter but also as an innovator creating practical AI solutions for global markets.
Akabot Agentic Automation: Driving the Next Wave of Intelligent Automation
A key part of the working session focused on FPT’s “Made by FPT” ecosystem, with particular emphasis on Akabot and its evolution from traditional RPA to AI Agentic Automation.
Akabot is an intelligent automation platform developed by FPT, currently serving over 4,500 customers across 21 countries. It is also one of the few Vietnamese solutions to secure patents in the United States, Taiwan, and Japan, while being recognized by leading global analyst firms such as Gartner, Everest, and G2.
In the education context, Akabot demonstrated strong potential in optimizing operations through:
- Automating admissions processes
- Streamlining student record management
- Enhancing student experience through automated certificate issuance, transcripts, scheduling, and tuition management
In addition, AI Agents can support teaching operations by automating repetitive tasks such as attendance tracking and learning material management, enabling educators to focus more on value-driven activities.

Shared Vision: Preparing Students for an AI-Driven Future
During the discussion, both sides exchanged valuable perspectives on integrating AI into education to enhance learning and operational efficiency.
Tran Thi Phuong Thao, Partnership Manager of Akabot at FPT Corporation, shared:
“We see a strong alignment between Suffolk’s SAIL framework and FPT’s vision for Akabot Agentic Automation. Bringing AI-powered automation into education not only reduces administrative burdens but, more importantly, prepares students to work alongside digital coworkers from day one of their careers.”
From Suffolk University, Professor Chrisy Yao, Chair of the Information Systems and Operations Management Department, expressed her impression of FPT’s rapid innovation:
“What FPT is doing with its AI Center and solutions like Akabot provides powerful real-world case studies for the immersive learning model we pursue. Seeing AI applied to overcome language barriers and manage educational data gives us valuable inspiration for future joint research initiatives.”
Laying the Foundation for Future Collaboration
Following the presentations, students showed strong interest in Akabot, actively engaging in discussions to better understand how the platform enables organizations—including educational institutions—to automate processes, optimize operations, and unlock the full potential of AI in both management and learning environments.
More than just a visit, this engagement laid the groundwork for future collaborations in AI research and talent exchange between FPT and Suffolk University. By combining FPT’s technological capabilities with Suffolk’s academic excellence, the partnership holds great promise in delivering impactful innovations for both the education and technology sectors on a global scale.
